Chulu West

popular

Chulu West (6,419 metres) is the highest of the two Chulus. This peak is accessed from a base camp in a small valley northwest of Manang, above Churi Ledar, situated near the main trail to Thorong-La. Chulu is not a technically demanding peak, but due to its long flank (ice plateau), progress can be slow.
