In the glittering length of the Himalayas, Nepal’s narrow breadth spans one of the most dramatic geographical and cultural transitions on earth. The elevation of the country ranges from 65 metres above sea level to the highest point on earth, Mt. Everest at 8,848 metres, all within a distance of 200 kilometres with climatic conditions ranging from tropical to arctic. Within this incredible variety of ecosystems and geography, there are 125 ethnic groups with their language and custom.
